Roberta Wingate Obituary
Ms. Wingate is survived by her brothers, Dana F. Wingate, Gerald M. "Jerry" Wingate, and Lloyd M. Wingate; special nieces and nephews, Salena Hall, Danyal Wingate, and Nathan Wingate; and a number of other nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Wingate will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Thrift United Methodist Church, Charlotte. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thrift United Methodist Church, 8245 Moore's Chapel Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214. Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is caring for Ms. Wingate's family.
