Ina Doris Douglas, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Liberty Commons surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 16, 1940, in Alamance County to the late Earnest Clay Douglas and Roberta Holsonback Douglas.
Ina enjoyed a fulfilling career, having retired from Lymco Textiles after previously working for Dixie Belle. Her professional life was marked by a strong work ethic and commitment, yet it was her personal life that truly defined her. She loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment shared with them.
In addition to her family connections, Ina had many hobbies that brought her joy. She had a great passion for sewing, often creating beautiful pieces that resonated with her love and creativity.
Ina is survived by her devoted daughter, Ina Grigsby, and her adoring granddaughters, Starr Michelle McArdle and Misty Dawn Bumgarner. She will also be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Keegan McArdle and Violet McArdle, who brought immense joy to her life; she also leaves behind a sister, along with several nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward. Ina has now been reunited with her parents, her son, Clinton James Grigsby and two brothers.
The family is planning a private service at a later date. Ina’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
