Inez Edmonds Culbreth

Inez Edmonds Culbreth, age 98, of Whitmire, SC, widow of Alfred Culbreth, passed away, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her home.

Inez was born November 18, 1926 in Inman, SC, and was the daughter of the late Oscar Sheldon and Bessie Gosnell Edmonds. She retired from J.P. Stevens after many years of service. Inez enjoyed attending Heritage Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her son, Danny Culbreth (Rebecca) of Clinton; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, Inez was preceded in death by her son, Shelton Culbreth; and her siblings, W. T. “Dub” Edmonds, Lois Melton, Bessie Mae Quinn, and Dovie Underwood.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire with Rev. Stephen Love officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Heritage Wesleyan Church, 191 Broom Street, Whitmire, SC 29178.
