Inez B. Graham, 79, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 17, 1946, in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Inez was the beloved daughter of the late James and Dorothy Dowling. After completing high school, she dedicated more than twenty years of her life as a nurse’s aide at Arlington Memorial Hospital, where her compassion and empathy touched countless lives.
Inez married the love of her life, John Graham, who devotedly cared for her throughout her illness in recent years. Her strength, gratitude, and unwavering spirit during that time were an inspiration to all who knew her.
She was the proud mother of Matthew (Paige) Long and the late David Long, and the cherished grandmother of Justin (Haylee) Long, Julia (Jordan) Dunson, and Aiden Long. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she never missed a chance to tell others how proud she was of them.
Inez was known for her selfless heart and nurturing spirit. Whether caring for patients, comforting a sick loved one, or simply listening with kindness, she was the person everyone turned to in times of need. She had a deep love for her dog, Heidi, and an infectious laugh that could light up a room.
A passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers, and Stars, Inez loved cheering on her hometown teams almost as much as she loved playing family card games or setting sail on a cruise adventure. She also carried a simple but steadfast faith in Christ and often spoke of her longing for heaven with peace and assurance.
Those who knew her will remember her for her warmth, humor, and unshakable love for family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the [SPCA](https://spca.org/?form=donation&loc=mdb), an organization close to Inez’s heart.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her son David and her parents, resting now in eternal peace.
