Inez A. Veraldi

Inez A. Veraldi of Bloomfield Hills died July 28, 2023. She was 98 years old. Inez was born January 17, 1925 in Vance, Illinois to Mary (nee Troiani) and Louis Cantalini.
After graduating from Eastern High School Inez worked as a secretary for Packard Motors before she married Frank Veraldi and began raising her family in Detroit. In 1960 the family moved and made their home in Beverly Hills. It was there that Inez became one of the founding members of St. Regis Parish and became actively involved in St. Regis, Brother Rice, and Marian Catholic Schools. A devote Catholic with a strong faith, Inez was fond of Tuesday's, St. Anthony Day and enjoyed her involvement with the Ladies of Charity and the St. Regis Guild.
Inez was a wonderful cook and loved hosting her children's friends for a big Italian feast with her special meatballs. Playing poker with her sisters and friends, spending time with her family, and being with her grandchildren in Florida were among some of Inez's favorite times.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
Inez is survived by her children, John Veraldi, Jim (Carolann) Veraldi, and Ann Marie (James) McAuliffe and grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, Jay, Dana, Amanda, Kristina, Andrea, John, Kimberly, James, Robbie, and Clare. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Izabelle, Benjamin, Louis, Quinn, Reese, and 1 yet named great grandchild, sister, Anita Cantaline and several nieces and nephews. Inez is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank A. Veraldi, sons, Frank D. Veraldi and Robert Veraldi, and sisters, Kay Thomas and Gloria Puglie.
Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Roads) Friday, August 4th, 4-8pm with a rosary and sharing of memories at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Regis Church, 3695 Lincoln Road, Bloomfield Hills, Saturday, August 5th at 10:30am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 10am. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
Memorials may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or Boys Town.
