Inez Anders Williams, born on September 12, 1938, in
Hendersonville, North Carolina, went home to be with Jesus, November 3, 2025, at the age of 87. She spent her final days surrounded by loved ones at Hendersonville Health and Rehab in
Hendersonville, North Carolina, after a brief period of declining health.
Inez dedicated 35 years of her professional life to Diamond Brand Camping Center in Naples, North Carolina, where she was a valued employee. Her life outside work was rich with family, faith, and creativity. A longtime member of Berea Baptist Church, she found joy and purpose in participating actively in Vacation Bible School and numerous church activities. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her community will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Inez cherished spending time with her family, whether it was traveling with her daughter or enjoying a meal out. She was always ready to see new places and have new and different experiences. She was skilled in sewing and other crafts, passions that she lovingly shared with anyone who wanted to learn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Toona Anders, and her husband, Mike Williams. Inez's memory lives on through her surviving family: daughter Vicky Seelig and her husband Joe of
Hendersonville, North Carolina; sons Nicholas Anders and his wife Marie of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Rick Brown and his wife Paula of
Hendersonville, North Carolina. Her legacy also includes her grandchildren, Jeremy Brown, Joshua Brown, Samantha McDowell, Zachary Hipp, Timothy Plemmons, Chris Seelig, Mark Seelig, and Kyle Seelig, as well as many great-grandchildren and numerous honorary great-grandchildren.
A special mention is made of her cherished aunt, Roxie Anders Hyder, along with many cousins, her beloved church family, and her little dog, Patches.
A memorial service to honor Inez will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Berea Baptist Church, with Pastor Matt Metzger officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Berea Baptist Church VBS Program or Blue Ridge Humane Society in memory of Inez Ander Williams. Her gentle spirit and enduring love will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
