Charles William "Bill" Crawford born on April 17, 1934, in Greer, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on October 25, 2025, in Asheville, North Carolina at the Charles George VA Medical Center, Valor Hospice. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, service, and love.

Bill was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, having bravely served his country during the Korean War. After his service, he brought his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence to his career at General Electric Lighting in East Flat Rock, where he contributed to the company's success for many years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ella Crawford, Bill's memory will forever be cherished by those who survive him: his wife, Sue Davis Crawford; his daughter, Deborah Crawford of Hendersonville; his son, Michael J. Crawford, and daughter-in-law, Marie, of Reno, Nevada; and his grandchild, Makenna Crawford, also of Reno, Nevada.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Shepherd Memorial Park. Pastor Jesse Peters will officiate the service, celebrating a life well-lived. Shuler Funeral Home has the honor of serving Bill's family during this time of remembrance.

Bill's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family, his service to his country, and a steadfast commitment to his work. He will be remembered as a man of integrity, strength, and inspiration. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
