Sarah Roberts

Ms. Sarah Betsy "Runt" Roberts, 85 of Hendersonville, NC was accepted into the arms of her savior on November 12, 2025. Born in Greene County, TN on December 28, 1939, she was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Gertie Cutshaw of Fletcher, her brothers, Jackie and Stanley Cutshaw of Fletcher, sister, Vernie Flynn of Fletcher, her husband, George Roberts of Springfield, MA, and her grandson, Eric Roberts of Hendersonville.

Her surviving family includes her daughters, Diana Roberts of Milton FL and Deborah Kidd of Alum Creek, WV;. grandsons, Timothy and Jason Weekly of Fruitland and Aaron Roberts of Milton, FL; her sisters, Teresa Caldwell of Mountain Home and Dorece Brackett of Fletcher, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She took great joy in spending time with her family, loved the Lord, and delighted in worship through music. Amongst her favorite activities, she loved to travel and good food. Above all else, she always stayed true being her Sweet & Sassy self. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Her family will be accepting guests at Church Street Funeral and Cremation in Hendersonville on Monday, November 17, 2025 for a time of visitation at 2:00 pm followed immediately by the Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Anthony Galloway at 3:00 pm. Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery of Greeneville TN at 2:00 pm.
