Danny "Dan" Allen Wallace, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2025, at Margaret Pardee Hospital in
Hendersonville, North Carolina. He was 78 years old.
Born on February 13, 1947, in Anderson, Indiana, Dan was the cherished son of the late Robert and Hazel Lemon Keesling.
Dan began his professional journey as an electrical engineer with General Motors, where his dedication and passion for innovation set the foundation for his successful career. He later joined Rockwell International, where he continued to excel in his field. Driven by a spirit of entrepreneurship, Dan owned and operated Blue Ridge Outdoor Sports, providing quality outdoor equipment and service to the community until his well-earned retirement in 2015.
Dan was an avid golfer who found both camaraderie and competition among his fellow members of the Crooked Creekers golf group, where he served as treasurer. His enthusiasm extended beyond the greens, as he was a devoted fan of all University of Tennessee Volunteers sports teams, supporting them through every season.
Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Terri Wallace, whose love and partnership were constants in his life. He leaves behind his children, Jennifer Jones and her husband David, and Doug Wallace and his wife Beth, who carry forward his legacy of integrity and strength. Dan's memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Bella, Ben, Paige, Olivia, Abby, and Noah, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his brothers, Steve Wallace and Larry Wallace.
A time of remembrance and gathering of friends will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Church Funeral and Cremation. A celebration of Dan's life will be held at a later date.
