Infant Briclynn Amir Nelson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Infant Briclynn Amir Nelson, who was born on April 18, 2025, in Morton, MS, and sadly departed the same day at Ochsner Scott Regional in Morton, MS. Though his time with us was brief, the impact of his presence will be cherished forever by those who loved him.

Briclynn was a beloved son to his parents, Devion Nelson of Forest, MS, and Makiyah Bates of Pulaski, MS. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Rebecca Bates of Forest, MS, and his maternal grandfather, Tony Odom of Forest, MS. His paternal grandmother, Thelma Lisa Nelson, also of Forest, MS, held him close in heart. Briclynn is remembered lovingly by his sister, Priclynn Bates, of Pulaski, MS, and his brother, Devion Nelson, Jr., of Forest, MS. Additionally, he leaves behind several aunts and uncles who adored him.

While his time here was fleeting, the love and joy he brought into the lives of his family will remain eternal. He will forever hold a special place in their hearts, where his memory will be lovingly preserved.
