Iole V. Gugliotta

Iole Vittoria Gugliotta (Yola), 93 of Lawrenceville, passed away quietly in her home on Thursday November 13th, 2025. Yola was born November 6th, 1932 to Antonino and Rosina Gugliotta. Her mother passed away a few years after her birth and she was raised by her father Antonino and his 2nd wife Grace Gugliotta. She resided most of her life in Brooklyn before moving to New Jersey in 1986 to be with her family. Yola was very quick witted and had a mind for various facts she frequently shared with those she loved. She had an uncanny memory for people's birthdays and was known for her talent at guessing the gender of new born babies, for which, she was very frequently correct. She was well-loved by all who came to know her and loved going out, visiting, and spending time with others. Yola is the sister of Elaine Mastro, and the sister-in-law of Vito Mastro, both of whom have preceded her.
She is survived by her loving nieces, nephews and their spouses Gina Mastro, Geoffrey Mastro, Marc and Kari Mastro, Elena and James McFarland, Gennifer and Giovanni Maggipinto, and Dana and Gerald Herrera, Jr. She was also blessed with several great nieces and nephews which included Melissa, Steven, Maria, Nicholas, Alessandra, Joseph, Katherine, Giuliana, Emma & Sherif, Kevin, Gianna, Isabella, Grace, Marcello, Suzanne and Mike, and Patricia and Holger. She is also survived by several grand nieces and nephews including Claire, Henry, and Charlotte.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.
The Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Her burial will be private.
