Ira Francis (Frank) Duskey, age 92, was called home on December 13, 2023. Born October 7, 1931 in Little Creek, Calhoun County, WV to the late Charley and Lydia (Nelson) Duskey.
Preceded in death by brothers, Charles Nelson, Albert, George, Richard and Robert Boyd Duskey; sisters, Orphie Nichols, Alice Clark, Martha Jean Bell and June Duskey; and grandson, Jonathon Duskey.
Frank is survived by his wife of 70 years, Martha; children Charlie (Rain) Duskey, Rick (Kathy) Duskey, Karen (Gary) Gaugler; sister Marion Jeanetta Smith; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Of special note are Marlene Riggs, Darlene Wright, Will Duskey and the late Bill Duskey.
He was a US Army, Korean War, veteran. He retired from B&W in Barberton. He was a member of Reimer Road Baptist Church and Crusade Baptist Church. Frank loved his family, spending time with his grandchildren, and sitting on his front porch in Barberton.
Calling hours will be Tuesday December 19, 2023 from 11:00-12:30 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH with funeral services to follow. Pastor Justus Snow officiating. Interment will be at Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman (Seville).
