Irene Daggy Obituary

Irene LaDean Daggy

Irene LaDean Daggy died on May 3rd 2025.

LaDean, as she was called, was born at home, on May 2, 1938 in Moore Idaho, to Floyd and Nora Haney. She was the second of two children.

Her family moved to Moses Lake in 1955, where she graduated from Moses Lake High School in1957.

LaDean met and fell in love with an airman, Albert Hurst, from Larson AFB. She and Albert married in

LaDean later married Ray McBride. Thankfully, that marriage ended in 1980.

In 1983, she met and married her soulmate, Don Daggy. They remained married until his death in 1992.

Together they owned and operated D&L Screen Printing in Moses Lake. She continued to run it for several years after his death. LaDean was a member of the Soroptimist International during her years of running the business.

LaDean is survived by a daughter, Diane Conrad (Don) of Stanwood and a son, Eric Hurst (Josie) of Moses Lake. As well as three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd Haney and Nora Haney. Her brother Clem Haney. And, her husband Don Daggy.

A funeral will be held Saturday May 10th at the LDS Rose Avenue chapel. 1036 Rose Avenue, in Moses Lake Washington at 11:00am. There will be a viewing beforehand at 10:00am.
