Irene Dingal Daguio, beloved mother, wife, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, in Salisbury, MD, at the age of 38. Known affectionately as Irene to her friends and family, she was born on November 4, 1986, in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, to her loving parents, Wilton and Larina Daguio.
Irene was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. She was the cherished wife of Michael Alver and the proud mother of three beautiful children, Samantha, Sophia, and Stephen King Alver. Irene's love for her family was boundless, and she nurtured her children with the same warmth and affection she received from her own parents. She was a sister to Jonathan, Mary Ann, Ferdinand, Jennifer, Leonardo, and Jessica Daguio, and an adored aunt to Aiyannah Daguio Albert and Doudeley Albert Jr. Her extended family included her uncle Patrick Henry, auntie Magdalena Dela Cruz, mother-in-law Perlita Alver, and sister-in-law Judith Krause, Marietta Daguio sister-in-law, Johanna Daguio niece, Joilene Daguio niece, Mei Daguio niece, Mylene Daguio sister-in-law, Jan Denver Daguio nephew, Monet Clark sister-in-law, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Irene's academic journey led her to earn a degree in Computer Science from Saint Mary's University. Her professional life was marked by her dedication as a customer service representative at Walmart, where she was not only respected for her work ethic but also loved for her warmth and willingness to help others.
A devout Catholic, Irene lived her faith through her actions, embodying the words, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Her life was a testament to this principle, as she touched the lives of many with her caring and compassionate nature.
Irene had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She was an avid gardener, finding joy in the beauty of nature and the tranquility of nurturing her plants. Her creativity shone through in the kitchen, where she enjoyed cooking all kinds of desserts, delighting her family and friends with her delicious creations. But above all, Irene loved spending quality time with her children, cherishing every moment and creating lasting memories.
Described by those who knew her as loving, kind, and creative, Irene had a natural ability to make those around her feel special and valued. Her presence was a source of comfort and happiness, and her absence will be deeply felt by all.
As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Irene made everyone she met feel loved and important, and her legacy of kindness and creativity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
