Irene May (LaCount) Hackett, 67, formerly of Winchendon, Massachusetts, a molder for Teleflex in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, before her retirement in 1993, died at Leo P. LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Gardner on Wednesday, December 20, 2000, following a long illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, December 27, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Fletcher-Hebert Funeral Home, 70 Pleasant Street, Winchendon. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 28, 8 a.m., at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, 9 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon. Memorial donations are appreciated to Joslin Diabetes Foundation, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215. Arrangements entrusted to Fletcher-Hebert Funeral Home, Winchendon, Massachusetts.

Lew, It's been nearly ten years since our paths have crossed. I was surprised and sorry to learn of your mother's passing, and am grateful to your family for providing this Guest Book so I could express my condolences.
