Raised in Revere, Irene graduated from Revere High School Class of 1945, and was a retired employee for the City of Malden. Devoted wife of the late Saul Kanofsky. Beloved mother of Joyce Pacheco and the late Beverly Gillette & her surviving husband Gary. Adored grandmother of Samuel Gillette. Dear sister of the late Sylvia Lapon and Jack Pearlstein. Services at Lebanon Tiferet Shalom Cemetery on Route 128N Peabody (between Route 114.and Endicott St Exits). Condolence calls may be made at the home of Joyce Pacheco on Sunday 2-8PM and Monday & Tuesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice 78 Liberty St. Danvers, MA. 01923.
