Born on May 10, 1969, in Bethesda, Maryland, Irene Eva Hall Krout was the middle child of Irene Eva Hall. At age six, her family moved from Virginia to Oklahoma City, which became her forever home. She graduated from Grace Christian Academy in 1988 and was a part of the Southern Nazarene University Class of 1998. Irene was a lifelong dancer and spent over twenty years as one of the Linda Tarpley Tappers. Her love for God carried into every aspect of her life.
Irene was married in 2004 to Todd Krout. They met while working at First Bethany Bank and Trust in Bethany, OK. They had two wonderful children, Trynitie Renee in 2008 and Zander Creed in 2011. Irene loved doing anything and everything with her two children. Trynitie and Zander meant the world to her and she made every effort to attend every performance and athletic event, even after being diagnosed with breast cancer. On the days she struggled with the illness, her kids and the strength of the Lord were the things that could get her out of bed.
On Friday October 17, 2025, Irene went to go be with her heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her father, David Burgess; stepfather, Francis "Dick" Hall; and guardian angel, Leonard Alsop.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Krout; children, Trynitie and Zander Krout; stepson, Wiley and wife Rianna Krout; her mother, Irene Eva Wickware Hall; sister, Renee Hall; brother, Jay Hall and wife Phoebe; nephew, Francis Hall; uncle, Jim Burgess and wife Sandy; and many loving cousins and friends.
Irene's Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Newchurch in Oklahoma City, 9201 N. Rockwell. Irene requested for everyone to wear bright colors in celebration of her heavenly homecoming. Flowers and letters of condolence can be delivered to Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany.
