Irene Allred Parrish, 83, of Randleman passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Cone Health in High Point surrounded by her family. She was born December 5, 1942 in Randolph County to Orlando Allred and Essie Jessup Allred.
Irene was known for her big heart and unending love for all she knew. After graduating from Randleman High School, she worked for Randolph Knitting in Ramseur where she retired as Supervisor. She loved to cook, especially cakes and fried cornbread. Of her many crafting passions, making Christmas wreaths and decorations was her favorite. Irene lived as a true Christian woman and put others care before herself. She attended Grace Baptist Church and loved to sing in the choir, but her love for her Lord and Savior always came first.
Irene is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David Parrish of the home; daughters, Angela Parrish Demers (Rich) of Pikeville, Anita Parrish Supon (Joey) of Randleman; grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Gracie; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Addy, Ember; sister, Julie Montgomery; brother, James Allred; close family friend, Kelly Ratcliff; and her sweet fur grand baby, Abbie. In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her sister, Valastra Hackett and fur grand baby, Bella.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 12:50 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church in Randleman with the funeral service starting at 1:00 PM with Reverend Marvin Patterson officiating. A private family burial will follow after the service.
