A proud graduate of a high school in Chicago, Irene was a lifelong learner. Her inquisitive mind and sharp wit were evident in her love for crossword puzzles, which she solved with great skill. She enjoyed spending her time watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play football and filling her mother in on the games when they would talk on the phone.
Irene was a kind-hearted person who touched the lives of many with her warm spirit. In her later years, Irene moved to Marietta, OH, where she continued to share her love of cats, crossword puzzles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers with her new community. Irene's memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the many happy moments she shared with her loved ones. Irene's zest for life and her kind-hearted nature will be remembered by all who knew her
