Irene Margaret Salow, 96, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away surrounded by family, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. She was born on April 12, 1929, in Ryan, the daughter of Benjamin and Clara (Brunsman) Pasker. Irene was raised near Ryan and attended St. Patrick School.

On April 19, 1949, Irene was united in marriage to Donald Salow at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ryan. Five children were born to this union. Together they farmed near Manchester and Edgewood for many years. Don and Irene moved from the farm into town in 1971. Irene worked at the Delaware County Hospital in Environmental Services for many years.

Irene was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing and fishing up north. Irene enjoyed watching sports, especially softball, and attended many of her grandchildren's events. She loved her family and cherished spending time with her family.

Survivors include four children, Dennis (Vicky) Salow of Colesburg, Janet (Jim) Diers of Colesburg, Deb (Terry) Koelker of Manchester, and Linda (Dale) Hermsen of Dyersville; a daughter-in-law, Teri Salow of Manchester; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Pasker of Cedar Rapids and Betty Salow of Manchester; and brother-in-law, Dick (Pat) Salow of Manchester.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Salow in 2020; son, Ronald Salow in 2020; a granddaughter, Tiffany Salow; and siblings, Joseph (Antonette "Nettie") Pasker, John (LuElla) Pasker, Ida (Ralph) Funke, William (Rosemary) Pasker, Albert (Irene) Pasker, Alphonse (Mae) Pasker, and Leo Pasker.
