She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Rio of Tampa FL, her two sons, Marke and Glenn Matthews of Phoenix; three grandsons, Walter and Alexander Matthews of Tampa and Glenn Eric Matthews Jr. of St. Mary's, GA; and two great-grandsons, Gideon and Kalvin Matthews of St. Mary's, GA.
Please join us in celebrating her life and legacy at Hansen's Family funeral Home located at 6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, 10:00am on the 17th of June 2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to one of her favorite charities including the Mayo Clinic, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the ASPCA.
Iris, your voyage on this earth was an inspiration to us all. As we bid you farewell, we take comfort in knowing that your spirit sails on. Fair winds and following seas, dear mother. Your memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

It is said that after one´s life, what is left are a unique array of memories.
In each or our hearts we hold some of these memories.
As for me, I will always remember the Loving, Caring and Giving Mother and Grandmother that she was, all of the valuable life lessons that were taught.
I send My heartfelt condolences to her family, May the Lord bless you and give you strength in your time of sorrow. She will forever be in our hearts. Sabrina Nelson
