Worcester: Iris M. (Bogosian) Gopoyan, 90, of Worcester, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 31, 2025.
Her beloved husband of 60 years, Vasken H. Gopoyan, passed away in 2017.
She is survived her two sons, Stephen Gopoyan of Dennis, and Edward Gopoyan of Worcester; her sister, Rose Marie Krikorian; and two grandchildren, Benjamin and Emily. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Bogosian. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Iris was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Vahan & Mary (Darhoogasian) Bogosian. She was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade School and worked as a hairdresser. She was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Savior.
A Visiting Hour will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 10 to 11am followed by a Funeral Service at 11am in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour. Arrangements in the care of Callahan Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St.
