They made their final home together in Haughton, Louisiana.
Iris loved the Lord Jesus and enjoyed listening to gospel music. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Iris liked playing online games, meeting people from around the world on Facebook and completing word search puzzles. She never missed an opportunity to have long conversations talking about God, family, and what was on the news. She also liked to reminisce about “the olden days.” Iris lived with her daughter Annalisa for 12+ years before she transitioned to the Christian home nursing facility. She spent her time there making friends with staff and other residents. She enjoyed games like dominos and bingo, two of her favorite activities while there. Iris was a fun person and always loved to make you laugh. She was a kind and loving person who was always willing to lend a hand to others in need. She was diligent in providing and blessing her family and always took her responsibilities seriously. Mom will be missed dearly.
