Lamentamos informarles del fallecimiento de Iris Nerida Martinez de Lares, Puerto Rico. Ella falleció a la edad de 71 años, el 24 de mayo. Iris falleció rodeada por su familia después de una batalla complicada de cáncer.
MENSAJE PARA MIS HIJOS, FAMILIA Y AMIGOS
No quiero que lloren en mi partida, deseo que me recuerden alegres, y siempre viva en sus corazones.
Cada uno de nosotros tenemos un propósito en la tierra, y la mía ha culminado.
Ahora me toca descansar, eternamente a lado de nuestro Señor Jesús Cristo.

¨Hay un momento para todo y un tiempo para cada cosa bajo el sol: un tiempo para nacer y un tiempo para morir, un tiempo para plantar y un tiempo para arrancar lo plantado; un tiempo para matar y un tiempo para curar, un tiempo para demoler y un tiempo para edificar; un tiempo para llorar y un tiempo para reír, un tiempo para lamentarse y un tiempo para bailar¨.¨Él secará todas sus lágrimas, y no habrá más muerte, ni pena, ni queja, ni dolor, porque todo lo de antes pasó.¨

We regret to inform you of the passing of Iris Nerida Martinez of Lares, Puerto Rico. She died at the age of 71, the 24th of May. Iris passed away surrounded by family after a complicated battle with cancer.
A Message for my children, family and friends:
I don't want you to mourn my parting. Instead, I wish for you to focus on the happy memories we share and remember that I continue to live in your hearts. Everyone of us has a purpose on Earth and mine has been completed. Now, it is time for me to rest eternally beside our Lord Jesus Christ.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes - Allen Park Chapel on Sunday May 28, 2023 from 2:00pm until 9:00 pm.
