Iris Adeline (nee Vasey) Mueller, 95 of Montello, WI, passed into eternity on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Pavilion of Glacier Valley in Slinger, WI.
Iris was born in Dunn County, WI on November 11th, 1929, to Howard Lee and Frances May (nee Cotts) Vasey. On July 16, 1949, she married Donald Mueller in Mason City Iowa and together they lived and worked in the West Allis area until moving to Montello in 1986.
Iris worked as a Ward Clerk for many years at West Allis Memorial Hospital. She loved traveling with Don and spending time with the many family members and friends who visited their lake home and their Florida home in winter, where they enjoyed many activities, especially Bocce and card games. Iris was a member of Trinity United Methodist church in Montello where she spent many hours helping with the thrift store, which benefitted many in their community who have lost homes due to fires or other circumstances. Iris always had an open door for those who came to visit.
Iris will be greatly missed and leaves behind her three children, Mary Juszczak of Princeton, WI, Carol (Mark) Hrenak of Slinger, WI, and Mike Mueller of Montello, WI, as well as six grandchildren, Jaime (Roy), Danae (Ben), Josie (Brett), Donovan (Gabrielle) Erica, and Stephanie. She is further survived by great grandchildren, Kyle, Destiny, Daylehn, Skylar, Dominic, Rowan, Emerson, and Evertt, her sister-in-law, Patricia Vasey and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Iris is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, William, Agnes, Carol and Walter.
A Memorial Service for Iris will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Faith Bible Alliance Church (N2799 Lehman Rd, Neosho, WI 53059). Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church of Montello or Faith Bible Alliance Church and are greatly appreciated.
