Iris Frederick Reily

Iris Frederick Reily, formerly of Red Lion, went to her eternal home from Senior Commons at Powder Mill on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the age of 88. She was reunited with her loving husband, Dean Myers Reily, on Valentine's Day. Dean entered into rest on June 23, 2021.
Iris was born in Baltimore on September 4, 1935 to the late Harold G. Frederick and Nancy J. (Yelton) Brady. She graduated from York High and after raising her sons, she received her Bachelor's in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Iris was an accountant for several years before joining her husband in retirement. In her earlier years, she and Dean traveled the world together. After retirement, they toured 49 states in US and every providence in Canada over an 11 year period, living out of a 21 foot Scotty camper trailer. She enjoyed theater as a young adult and loved belly dancing in the 70's. During her time at the nursing home, she found joy in reading.
Iris leaves her sons, Michael David Reily and wife, Tami of Grass Lake, MI and Patrick James Reily and wife, Doretta of Atlanta, GA. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Joel Reily and Nathan Reily, both of Atlanta, and Katherine Keena and Gillian Smith, both of Michigan, as well as her three great-grandchildren, Charlie Keena, Reily Keena and Henry Smith.
A graveside service will be private and at the convenience of the family at Mount Rose Cemetery. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with arrangements.
