Jimmy Reily Obituary
Jim was born November 18, 1941, in Garland, Texas to George and "Hannah" Reily. He passed away October 5, 2023 in Tyler. Throughout his life, Jim never met a stranger and brightened the lives of all he encountered with his generosity, kindness, and sense of humor.
Jim was a dedicated servant to the Lord serving as deacon and Sunday School teacher throughout his life. His church home in Tyler, where he attended with his wife Marilyn, was Southside Baptist Church. He graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis in Ft. Worth, Texas. Jim, along with his wife Marilyn, were owners of several McDonald's stores in the Hill Country prior to retiring in Tyler, Texas.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, George Davis Reily, mother, Mary Elna "Hannah" (Kimbrell) Reily, and brother, George Davis "Speedy" Reily Jr.
He is survived by his loving family including sister, Judith Ann Burns and her spouse Larry Burns. His wife of sixty-four years Marilyn Gayle (Ward) Reily, and their children, Jimmy George Reily Jr. and his spouse Carla, Scott Ward Reily and his spouse Sandra, Steven Craig Reily and his spouse Faith, and Susan Lynn Reily.
Jim is survived by nine grandchildren; Danielle and her spouse Phillip, Jeffery, Brendon and his spouse Meghan, Bridget and her spouse Martin, Morrigan and her spouse Mars, Noah and his future spouse Brooke, Gemma, Ian, and Own. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; Reily, Alexander, and Benjamin.
Visitation will follow the memorial service at Stewart Family Funeral Home.

He and Ron Naylor got me into running with them. They talked me into running the Dallas Whiterock marathon with hem. i thought I was going to die, but I finished.
