Irma Jean Adams, a child of God, was called home to glory on November 5, 2024. Irma was born in San Antonio, TX, to Nettie Mae and Hebert Lee Adams. Irma's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment. She was preceded in death by her father Hebert Adams and sister Norma Jean.
Irma Jean was a passionate seamstress; she loved using her creative skills for fashion. She had a gift for decorating and planning. In addition, she enjoyed volunteering every year for fifteen years on behalf of Macon Church for various types of cancer walks.
Irma Jean piloted her career at Kelly Airforce Base and after that, she transferred to Waren Robins, GA where she lived for twenty-five years. Her professional achievements included her dedication to the Department of Defense for thirty-five years. She retired from her Civil Service career proudly.

I worked with Irma at Robins AFB. She had a smile that could light up the room. Serious and humorous. Missing Ms. Irma.

Irma & I met at Lundy Chapel Baptist Church Macon GA before I moved but we remained friends. I helped her with packing to move back to Texas and we stayed in touch until I didnt get an answer on her cell or reply to my text. Her sister shared the news & I'm very sadden to lose a friend & sister in Christ.
May she now rest in peace with the Lord. Family I will keep you all in my prayers. She was a strong lady & very independent but so friendly.

A woman running up to me smiling and laughing. My fellow Texan welcoming me to Warner Robins, Georgia. A wonderful, spirited person. Irma was very spiritual, always kind and will be missed by the entire Stubbs family. Thank you Irma for including us into your world.
