Irma “Jackie” Jacqueline Bohl (nee Shipman), 77, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born December 1, 1947, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, Jackie had made Vermilion her home for the past 33 years.
Jackie graduated from Vermilion High School in 1966. She enjoyed a 38-year career in banking, most recently serving customers and colleagues at Fifth Third Bank in Vermilion, where she was known for her warm smile and dedicated work ethic.
Jackie was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion and found joy in tending to her garden and caring for her yard. She loved the peace and fulfillment that came from working outdoors and nurturing the beauty around her. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Conrad J. (Christine) Bohl, Jr. of Bonney Lake, WA, and Matthew Shane (Michelle) Bohl of Norwalk, OH; grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew (Kenzie), Jacob, Sarah, and Lucas; and her brother, Elwood "Woody" (Anita) Shipman of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Bohl in 2012; and her parents, Elwood and Minnie (Lundy) Shipman.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089. Inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
