Es con profundo pesar que anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, Irma Luz Ibanez, quien falleció el domingo 16 de Febrero de 2025 a la edad de 63 años. Una esposa, madre y abuela devota y amorosa, Irma deja un legado de su enorme fe en Dios, fuerza, bondad, amor y devoción inquebrantable a su familia y amigos.
Nacida el 25 de Junio de 1961 en Puerto Inca, Perú, Irma era una mujer de fe, fuerza, gracia y compasión. Ella era la luz y el corazón de su familia, siempre poniendo a los demás delante de sí misma y creando un hogar lleno de calidez, risas y amor incondicional. Su espíritu nutritivo y su naturaleza desinteresada tocaron las vidas de todos los que la conocieron. Conocerla era amarla y adorarla.
Irma fue precedida por sus padres, Julio Ibáñez y Juana Vásquez, su hermana Lucilla Ibanez y su hermano Fernando Ibanez. Le sobreviven su esposo, José Basauri, sus dos hijos, Joselyn e Irvin Basauri, sus nietos Jameson y Jianna Navarro y sus hermanos Leonor Quintana, Paquita Ibanez, Edgardo Ibanez y Arnaldo Ibanez, junto con todos sus más queridos cunados y sobrinos, todos los cuales fueron su mayor orgullo y alegría.
Su amor por su familia no conocía límites, y su memoria vivirá en los corazones de sus hijos, nietos y todos los que fueron bendecidos por conocerla. Ella tenía un don específico para hacer que todos se sintieran amados, valorados y comprendidos. Su legado de fe, amor, fuerza y devoción continuará inspirándonos todos los días.
El Viernes 21 de Febrero de 2025 se llevará acabo un servicio funerario en Álvarez Funeraria, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic, Nueva Jersey, con horario de visita de 6pm a 9pm. En lugar de flores, la familia acoge amablemente las donaciones. Para aquellos que desean honrar su memoria con flores, son apreciados calurosamente y traerán consuelo durante este difícil momento.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Irma Luz Ibanez, who peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 63. A devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Irma leaves behind a legacy of strong faith in God, strength, kindness, love and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Born on June 25, 1961 in Puerto Inca, Peru, Irma was a woman of faith, strength, grace and compassion. She was the light and heart of her family, always putting others before herself and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit and selfless nature touched the lives of all who knew her. To know her was to love and adore her.
Irma was predeceased by her parents, Julio Ibanez and Juana Vasquez, her sister Lucilla Ibanez and brother Fernando Ibanez. She is survived by her husband, Jose Basauri, her two children, Joselyn and Irvin Basauri, her grandchildren Jameson and Jianna Navarro and her siblings Leonor Quintana, Paquita Ibanez, Edgardo Ibanez and Arnaldo Ibanez, along with all her dearest in-laws and nieces and nephews, all of whom were her greatest pride and joy.
Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and all who were blessed to know her. She had a specific gift for making everyone feel loved, valued and understood. Her legacy of faith, love, strength and devotion will continue to inspire us every day.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Alvarez Funeraria, 66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic, New Jersey, with visitation hours at 6pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly welcomes donations. For those who wish to honor her memory with flowers, they are warmly appreciated and will bring comfort during this difficult time.
