Irma Jean Roberts Morse, 88, of Doerun, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Wilson Hospice House in Albany.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Baker/ Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Doran Bland officiating.
Born on August 23, 1937, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Alfred Darrell Roberts and Susie Mae Barwick Roberts. Irma worked for many years with Riverside Manufacturing Company in the black-lettered shipping department, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, she found great joy in fishing, gardening, and tending to her flowers.
Irma loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for playing lighthearted pranks that kept everyone laughing. Her fun-loving spirit and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was of the Baptist faith, and her life reflected the love, kindness, and faith she held close to her heart.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Jewel Eddings, Virginia Snipes, Ruby Tucker, and Lorene Hill; brothers, Floyd Roberts, Junior Roberts, Vernon Roberts, Harold Roberts, and Theron Roberts.
Irma is survived by her husband, David Lavon Morse of Doerun; four sons, Alfred David Morse and wife Cheryl of Hahira, Evers “Lyn” Morse and wife Vickie of Hahira, Michael Dale Morse of Doerun, and Tony Gene Morse of Doerun; grandchildren, Brian Morse and wife Christy, Angela Mikell and husband Shawn; Amy Hawkins and husband Spencer, Megan Fleetwood and husband Drew, Alexis Browning and husband Guy, T.J. Morse Jr. and wife Kay, Austin Morse, and Meagan Morse; great grandchildren, Catie Morse Bennett and husband Alston, Kristopher Morse, Logan Morin and husband Josh, Dylan Green, Blake Sprayberry, Abby Fletcher and husband Jared, Brailyn, Alaina, Cameron, Branson, Elizabeth, Alastor, Lily, Scarlett, Charlie, Max and Ashtyn Hawkins; great- great grandchildren, Kolten, Coralee, Waylon, and Jackson; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
