Irma De La Rosa Rodriguez, 69 of Odessa, Texas, Surrounded by her Loving Family, passed away Wednesday January 7, 2026 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born on November 12, 1956, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, to Alicia Barrientos De La Rosa and Felipe Rivera De La Rosa. She later met the love of her life, Jaime Rodriguez, and they were married on December 24, 1976, in Odessa, Texas, where they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family.
While living in Odessa, Irma and Jaime created a beautiful family of three children: two sons, Fausto Antonio Rodriguez and Samuel Rodriguez, and one daughter, Janette Rodriguez. Irma was a wonderful and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family unconditionally. She never me t a stranger—she had a heart of gold and welcomed everyone with kindness and warmth.
Her grandchildren were her world, and she loved them deeply and without limits. Irma’s compassion, generosity, and loving spirit touched all who knew her and will forever be remembered.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Alicia Barrientos De La Rosa and Felipe Rivera De La Rosa; her brother, Fausto Barrientos De La Rosa; and two beloved grandchildren, Samantha Rodriguez and Aaron Anthony Rodriguez.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jaime Rodriguez; her son, Fausto Antonio Rodriguez and wife Belia Rodriguez; her son, Samuel Rodriguez and wife Christina Rodriguez; her daughter, Janette Rodriguez and husband Enrique Mendoza; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; her sister, Laura De La Rosa; and her brothers, Ignacio De La Rosa and Reyes De La Rosa, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Irma D. Rodriguez will be held Monday January 12, 2026 from 1pm to 9pm with a Rosary being Recited at 7Pm at Martinez Funeral Home - Dixie
Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday January 13,2026 at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church
The Rodriguez family have requested and opted for Cremation, as the alternative means of Burial, with a Memorial Service to be held at a Later Date.
Services are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home- The Dixie Location.
