Irmgard Morrill Obituary
Irmgard Morrill of Smithfield, Virginia passed away on December 26, 2025 at the age of 94.
She was the daughter of the late Elsa and Edward Vorndran. Irma was born in Aub, Germany in March of 1931. She is survived by two daughters Lorelei Briggs (Mark) and Brenda Morrill as well as three grandsons and brother Heinz Vorndran of Germany. Irma was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Jack Morrill and son Kenneth Morrill along with brother Willie Vorndran of Germany.
Irma enjoyed walking, reading, traveling, baking and conversing with everyone she met along her way. She moved from Germany at 22 years old to San Bernadino, CA. After the death of her husband, Irma moved in 2005 to Windsor and later to Smithfield making many new friends at the Luter YMCA.
