Iron "Wayne" Hendrix, 71, of Chattanooga passed away October 12, 2025. He was born March 15, 1954, and of the Baptist faith. Wayne enjoyed photography, gardening, stamp collecting and Tennessee football. Wayne retired from McKee Bakery after 47 years of service.
Preceded in death by his father Iron Orell Hendrix; mother, Wyvette (Pat) Hendrix and brother, Bruce Hendrix.
Survived by his daughter, Kelly Rust; sister, Brenda (Bob) Duke and Nancy Hendrix; granddaughter, Morgan Anthor; eight nephews. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM, at Companion Funeral Home-Chattanooga Chapel, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
