Irva Lee Boyd Frady Byrd, 78, of Marion, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Rose Hill Retirement Community.
She was born in Madison County on April 30, 1945 to the late Samuel Boyd and Bonnie Davis Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Frady.
Irva was a hairdresser for over 25 years and truly loved her work. She loved the Lord and was a longtime faithful member of West Court Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, word searches, shopping, traveling, and camping. She was a fan of bluegrass music, and it did her heart good to spend time with friends and family. Above all, her great grandchildren meant the world to her.
She is survived by her son, Robert “Tim” Frady (Ginger Parker Sisk); grandson, Jeremiah Frady (Amber); three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kinsley, and Maverick; and three siblings, Bob Boyd (Mary), Samuel Boyd (Marsha), and Patsy Frady (Kenneth- deceased).
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at West Court Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Hensley and Pastor Jeff Burchette officiating. Burial will follow at West Court Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
