Dear Randi, family, and friends:
On behalf of the Dance for Parkinson's class of which Hop was a valued member for years, we send our condolences and sorrow at his passing. We knew Hop as a consummate gentleman whose kindness and enthusiasm were a gift to all. His wit in creating lyrics and his willingness to enter fully into dancing for the joy of it was a weekly inspiration. Hop's bravery and grace in difficult life circumstances was a model for us all.

He gifted us a painting he made of our class dancing and we see it each day in our home........it is a fine reminder of Hop and his positive spirit. He also made us some music compilations that we use frequently in classes.
His memory will be a blessing.
In sorrow and with gratitude for his place in our lives,
Sharon Friedler and Jon Sherman

Yesterday

Deepest condolences to Randi and to all of Hop's family and friends. Hop was a leading member of the Parkinsingers Choir for many years, and we all treasured his friendship, his musicianship, his incredible artistic talent and his great spirit. We loved singing with him! To me personally he was a warm and supportive friend, offering wisdom and good humor in many situations. I mourn his passing, and pray that the wonderful memories of this brilliant and kind man will help ease the pain of his loss.
