Irwin D. Tice Jr., of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Rittenhouse Village.

He was the widower of Gloria (Dry) Tice, who passed away August 1, 2024.

Born October 23, 1932, he was the son of the late Irwin D. Tice Sr. and Violet (Heisey) Tice.

Irwin was a 1950 graduate of Hershey High School and two years later he married the love of his life, Gloria (Dry), on January 5, 1952. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean war where he served for two years.

He was employed as a welder at Dana Corporation's Parrish Division. Irwin worked for the company for over 32 years, retiring in 1987. He then worked part time at JDM Company, Inc. and Jetsort Inc., officially retiring at the age of 85.

Sonny as he liked to be called, was a faithful church member - first at the Nazarene Church and then later at Faith EC. He loved to do woodworking - making toys for his grandchildren and friends. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and will be missed by all.

Irwin is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. (Tice), wife of Curtis Weller of Wernersville, and Crystal S. (Tice), wife of Timothy Moss of Mocksville, NC.

In addition, he was survived by five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two siblings, Daniel Tice, husband of Nan Tice of Shinglehouse, PA, and Irene (Tice), widow of Martin Menges of Hanover, PA

A service will be held Tuesday, September 23, at 11 a.m. at Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, in Temple. A viewing will take place an hour prior from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the same location. Burial will be held privately at Richland Cemetery, Lebanon County.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to : Faith E.C. Church, 400 N. Temple. Blvd, Temple.
