Jerry Tice Obituary
Jerry Antony Tice, age 80, of Commerce, TX passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was born on March 4, 1945 in Commerce, (Hunt County) TX, the son of Theadous Antony Tice and Juanita Glenzelle Waters Tice.
A graveside service, with military honors, will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce at 10:00 a.m.
Jerry attended Commerce High School, graduating with the class of 1964. Prior to enlisting in the military, he attended East Texas State College.
Jerry proudly served his country with the Reserve Army National Guard from 1964 to 1965 as Private E1; active duty with the United States Marine Corp from September 27, 1965 to March 1, 1967; and Reserve with United States Marine Corp from March 1, 1967 to August 22, 1971 as Sergeant E5. While serving in the United States Marine Corp, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Bobby Gene Tice and wife Sherie of Fairlie, TX; brother Glen Earl Tice and wife Judy of Conroe, TX, as well as several nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Theadous (T.A.) and Juanita Tice; sister, Edith Tice Nichols, and grandparents.
