Isaac Lee Farley

Isaac Lee Farley, Jr. was born on November 14, 1969, in Gulfport, MS, to the late Margaret Ann Jones-Farley and Isaac Lee Farley, Sr. He was a devoted son and caregiver to both of his parents. He was a member of the Gulfport High School Class of 1989. He attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College- Harrison County Campus where he fell in the love with the campus so much that he went on to join the staff on September 4, 2003 and worked there until God called him home. He also worked at the Keesler Air Force Base Commissary for many years until his passing on November 23, 2023. Isaac gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Progressive Baptist Church where he sung in the church choir. Since his youth, his melodic voice blessed churches and congregations all over the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In his last months, you could catch him giving God praise every Sunday at the Victory Temple Christian Center where he often led praise and worship. One of his favorite songs to sing with the family was "Safe in His Arms."
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Margaret Ann and Isaac Farley Sr., his grandparents Mary Lee and George Allen Draine, Vernell and Carlene Cowart, and Isaac Farley, his Godmother/Aunt, Dortha Mae Farley-Jackson, his Godson Alfonso Bailey, his Godbrother John Jackson Jr., Godsister, Antonia Spencer; four uncles Hayes Blakley, Marshall Farley, Ervin Mullins, Billy E. Draine; three aunts, Rosemary Mullins, Jenny Draine Clay, Ethel R. Draine.
His loving memory will always remain in the hearts of his devoted companion of many years Lucy Williams, his Godsisters; Clara (Charles) Strickland, Angela (Keith) Kennedy, Annette Jackson-Martin, Daphne Jackson, Tasha Williams, Wanda Mullins and Leslie Fairley, his Godbrothers; Toussaint and Patrick Jackson, his Godchildren; Quintinez Alexander, Ebony Easter, Nehemiah Long, and Zephaniah Alexander, three aunts; Elizabeth (Jimmie) Amos, Betty Sue Draine Washington, Charlean (Phillip) King, his uncles; Andrew (Dorothy) Farley and George A. Draine Jr., and special cousin Ursula Yvette Wilson and host of cousins, family, and friends. He will be sadly missed and remembered by all for his laughter, compassion, empathy and unconditional love.
