Isaac Levine Lamb

Isaac Levine Lamb born on October 17, 1951, transitioned peacefully March 30, 2025, at the age of 73. Isaac was born the third of five children in the Lamb family. Isaac affectionately known as "Jackie" was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and awesome great-grandfather. He was a caring brother, uncle, cousin with a host of friends.
Isaac was educated in the Portsmouth Public School System and a proud I. C. Norcom Greyhound. After high school, Isaac worked as a car mechanic prior to his career as a Rigger at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Norshipco Shipyard and Metro Machinery Shipyard. He was a faithful member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his St. Mark church family and especially his friends along the rear pews.
Isaac was a man of integrity and strength, known for his sense of humor and generous heart. Throughout his life he touched the hearts of many living his life on his terms no matter. He was always ready to lend a helping hand with and warm smile. His presence was a source of comfort and stability to all who knew him. Isaac was an avid I. C Norcom Greyhound and Commanders football fan. He enjoyed traveling supporting his kids, and grandkids.
Along with his parents, Isaac was predeceased by one son: Jamar "Tenee" Lamb, one brother: George "Junie" Lamb II, and one nephew: George "Geo" Lamb III. He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years Tangee Lamb. Their bond was a testament of enduring unconditional love and partnership. Isaac was a proud father survived by five children, Antwaunette Dean of Portsmouth, Jacalyn Parker of Virginia Beach, Antonio L. Lamb Sr. (Charmaine) of Portsmouth, Jaqueline Keys of Newport News, and DeAndre Lamb of Portsmouth, two bonus daughters, LaGina Roller and Kiara Roller of Mississippi, 18 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Marvin Lamb (Peanut) of Florida, Gloria "Jean" Brantley (JC) of Georgia and Connie Hayes of Newark New Jersey. Isaac also leaves a cherished aunt, Tela Smith.
Also left to cherish his memories are a host of nieces, nephews, an extended family from his wife including a mother-in-law Rosie Mosley and two special friends Matt Davis and James Brinkley.
