Isaac Rogers Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home on Feb. 27, 2026.
Isaac David Rogers passed away on February 26, 2026, achieving his lifelong goal of leaving this world a little better than he found it.

David was born in 1944 in Morgan County, Kentucky. His father was killed in World War II before David was born, and he grew up never having met his own Dad. From an early age, David understood perseverance, responsibility, and the value of building something lasting-lessons that would define the confident and grounded man he became.

For more than 35 years, David served the Hot Springs, Arkansas, community as a dedicated physician. He loved his practice and believed wholeheartedly in the calling of healing. To his patients, he was more than a doctor; he was steady, kind, and deeply generous with his time and care. His quiet confidence and steady presence brought comfort to countless families.

Above all, David loved his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife and best friend, Kathy, and a proud father to his sons, Isaac and Taylor. He warmly welcomed his daughters-in-law, Kim and Laura, into the family and found immense joy in being "Pops" to Chase, George, and Samantha. With his grandchildren, he was playful yet wise, grounded in his values and endlessly generous with his encouragement and love. His family was his greatest accomplishment and his deepest source of pride. When asked about their Pops, the grandkids described him as supportive, smart, caring, stoic, strong, and kind.

In retirement, David poured his energy into his cattle ranch south of town. There, he worked tirelessly, raising cattle, tending the land, and continually improving the property he loved. The ranch was more than a pastime, it reflected who he was. David was hardworking, patient, confident in his abilities, and deeply grounded in his humble values. His stewardship of the ranch mirrored the care he had shown his patients and family for decades.

His decades in the community were filled with hundreds of friends and colleagues, too numerous to mention. In his later years, he was especially grateful for the steadfast friendship and support of Joan and Donnie Lambert, Irwin Seale, and James Parker.

David's life was one of service-to his patients, to his land, and most importantly, to the people he loved. He leaves behind a family strengthened by his example and a community made better by his kind and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
