Isaac Roosevelt Sykes Sr. was born on October 10, 1972, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Dorothy (Cousion) Sykes and Henry Williams.
He received his education in the Indianapolis Public Schools; Elementary School #27, Middle School #47 and was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School.
Issac’s last place of employment was at CW Recycling Renascent as a painter, which he loved. He also loved to watch sports and spend time with his family.
Isaac Roosevelt Sykes Sr. departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the age of 52 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Cousion) Sykes; father, Henry Williams; and brother, Ronald Williams.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory fiancée, Sharee Dickson; sons, Isaac Sykes Jr. and Isaiah Sykes; daughters: Iesha Sykes, Niesha Sykes and Ayanna Sykes; grandchildren: Icess Washington, Isaac Sykes Jr. II, Xavier Sykes and Ivory Sykes; sisters: Angel Grey, Ernestine Cousion, Nicole Davis, Kisha Lewis and Danielle Ingrams-Clay; brothers: Lee Cousion, Jonathan Cousion, Henry Williams Jr. and Antonio Williams Sr.; stepfather, Lee Heard; and stepmother, Joyce Williams. Isaac also leaves behind a host of stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Isaac was loved by many and will be missed by all.
