Isabel Falcon

Isabel Lopez Falcon, 83, passed away on July 24, 2023. She went peacefully in her home in Corpus Christi, Texas, with her family and loving husband of 60 years, Benjamin F. Falcon Sr., by her side.
She was born on July 3, 1940, in Rosenberg, Texas, to Jesus "Jesse" Lopez and Carmen Longoria.
Isabel attended Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi and graduated in 1959. After high school, she attended Stevenson's Advanced Gulf Coast Beauty College in Corpus Christi. On December 1, 1961, she received a beautician diploma. The following year, she married the love of her life on December 29, 1962, at the Corpus Christi Cathedral.
Isabel was one-of-a-kind, fiercely independent, free-spirited, and had a heart full of adventure. She loved dancing, gardening, catering to her grandchildren and granddogs, and enjoying her soaps. Isabel spent her later years socializing as a Club 50 and Breakfast Buddies member. These activities brought her happiness because they gathered lifelong friends and family to enjoy her favorite pastime - their company. Above all else, Isabel was most proud of her three grandchildren and their many accomplishments.
Isabel was a beloved and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Ben; her three children, Benjamin Falcon Jr. and daughter-in-law Jennifer Falcon, Sandra Lee (née Falcon) Moralez and son-in-law Ruben Moralez, and Jeffrey Russell Falcon; her three grandchildren Meagan Lee Falcon, Kassandra Lee Moralez, and Benjamin Jonathan Falcon; her sisters Beatrice Lopez and Mary Mendoza.
The family of Isabel Falcon wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to all the family and friends who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers during this time. She will always be with us in memory and spirit above.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
