Isabel "Chavelita" Valenzuela

05/23/33 - 09/02/2025

Isabel "Chavelita" Valenzuela, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born on May 23, 1933, and lived a life filled with love, grace, and devotion to her family.

Chavelita was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Valenzuela, her father Indalecio Carrillo, mother Irinea Orendain, sisters Maria, Esthercita, brother Manuelito, and sister Rafaela. She is survived by her children Irene Garnica (Ruperto), Lionel Valenzuela, Luis Valenzuela (Esthela), Isabel Madrid (Javier), Alma Valenzuela (Miguel), and Yvette Valenzuela. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her 25 grandchildren, 49 greatgrandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Known for her elegance and radiant presence, Isabel always carried herself with beauty and dignity, "like a queen." She loved to dance and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family. Her warmth, laughter, and strength will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at St. Patrick Church. The Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place after the mass at Evergreen Cemetery, with a reception to follow at First Baptist Church Hall in Bisbee, AZ.
