Isaiah Villa Obituary

It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Isaiah Michael Villa, at the age of 28, on October 13, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on May 5, 1997, on Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. Isaiah lived a life filled with passion, service, and dedication.

From an early age, Isaiah demonstrated a rare blend of strength and compassion-qualities that would come to define his remarkable journey. He served as a Page for the Virginia Senate and was a proud Eagle Scout of Troop 408, as well as a Silver Award recipient with Venturing Crew 408. Through these experiences, he embraced the values of servant leadership, duty to God and country, community service, and loyalty-principles that guided him throughout his life.

Isaiah found his calling as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with honor and distinction, embodying the spirit of selfless service. His commitment to his country was unwavering, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Outside of his military service, Isaiah was a man of many interests and talents. A true anime enthusiast, he found joy and creativity in its stories and artistry. His love for food made him a devoted "foodie," always eager to explore new culinary adventures. His athletic spirit shone through his lifelong passion for baseball and fitness, constantly pushing himself toward personal growth. Known for his optimism and humor, Isaiah often reminded those around him that no matter the challenge, "It'll buff"

A man of faith and community, Isaiah was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, where he continued to live out his belief in serving others. His servant leadership and positive outlook fostered camaraderie and encouragement among his peers.

Isaiah's family will remember him for his steadfast love, kindness, and humor. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Denices Villa; his parents, Ramon and Lisa Villa; his siblings, Teresa Perkins and husband Nicholas Perkins, Sarah Schafer and husband Tyler Schafer, and Joshua Villa and wife Hannah Villa; and his cherished nephew and nieces, Jonathan Perkins, Emily Perkins, and Sophia Schafer. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Isaiah's life on Wednesday, November 12th, at Altmeyer Funeral Home Southside Chapel, beginning at 5:30 p.m. A Rosary and prayer service will take place at 6:00 p.m., followed by a time of sharing memories, stories, and tributes in his honor. A Memorial Mass will be held the following day, Thursday, November 13th, at 11:00 a.m., at Church of the Ascension, with burial and full military honors to follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

These gatherings will offer family and friends the opportunity to remember and honor a man whose life, though far too short, was filled with purpose, love, and a lasting impact on all who knew him. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.altmeyerfh.com.

Though Isaiah's earthly journey has come to an end, his spirit remains ever-present-in the laughter he inspired, the love he gave, and the lives he touched. His light continues to shine in the hearts of those who loved him.

Well done, good and faithful servant-your watch has ended. Semper Fidelis.
