Bob was the proud owner of AB Pool Service, where he designed, constructed, and maintained pools throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Known by his kids as the "puddle expert," Bob took great pride in his craft and left a lasting impression on every project he completed.
A true free spirit, Bob lived life on his own terms. He loved sailing and spent countless hours on his beloved sailboat, often accompanied by his loyal companion Ally, who rarely left his side.
Bob's adventurous nature took him across the world, including memorable trips to Greece and Mexico. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was thrilled to attend several games in person. Music was a constant in his life-especially the sounds of Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones.
Those who knew Bob will remember his carefree personality, his love of laughter, and his legendary sweet tooth-no dessert was ever safe around him. He wasn't one for tidiness, but he was full of heart, humor, and the kind of energy that drew people in. Friends fondly recall Bobby asking them to come and join him in sailing.
Bob attended Bruton High School in Williamsburg, VA, and was raised in the Episcopal faith. As the eldest of five siblings, he led with both mischief and love, leaving behind his legacy of his four children and his rebellious soul.
Bob will be remembered for his free spirit, his laughter, and his deep love for family, music, and the open water.
