Four Oaks: Mr. Isidro “Chilo” Ponce-Pineda, age 56, of Hockaday Road passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. The family will receive friends and family from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
Chilo was born on August 17, 1968 to the late Leandro Ponce Avila and Melania Pineda Vega. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marisela Ponce. Chilo worked for Keene Memorials in Four Oaks. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Chilo loved his grandchildren deeply, never missed a birthday party, and was known to be the prankster of the family. He loved his trucks and will be remembered for being a jack of all trades. Chilo was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle.
Chilo is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christine Ponce; children, Joey Benavidez and wife, Shandra, Frankie Benavidez and wife, Fay, Sylvia Raudales and husband, Gary; nine grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ana Cleto Ponce, Ma Ansuncion Ponce, Alberto Ponce, Ma Guadalupe Ponce, Martha Pineda, Raul Ponce, Ma Salud Ponce, Esperanza Ponce, and Ma De Jesus Ponce; several nieces and nephews.
