Isis Sadhoo Harris, beloved Mother to Isis Victoire Korenstein and Angelique Riki Harris passed away on February 26, 2025 leaving an emptiness we will never fill.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 27, 1937 to Emma Sadhoo. They eventually made the move to Philadelphia. She lived there until 2017, when she moved to be closer to her family in Florida.
After graduating from Cheyney University, her career in teaching spanned 35 years. During those years "Miss Harris" touched the hearts of students and parents alike.
Her dearest friends became her family. The love, caring and support they shared bolstered her fierce independence and strength. Her ever-present sassiness and humor were contagious and made for memories that will always bring a smile.
Isis is survived by her daughters, Angeligue Riki and Isis Victoire and husband Gary, whom she truly considered her son.
Her granddaughters, Gabriela Elyse Fuoco, and husband Nicholas, Isis Jamee Grant, Candy Colp, and husband Phil, Tara Gillin and husband Byron, Kimmie Cury and husband Steve.
Her grandson, Hunter Logan Korenstein.
Her great grandchildren, Talon, Preston, Harper, Jack, Leo, Caroline, Evelyn and Ben.
Arrangements are under the direction of Millennium Cremation Service. Condolences may be shared online at www.millenniumcremationservice.com.
