Ismael Guzman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on November 14, 1945, Ismael lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and passions.
Ismael was known for his warm heart and his ability to bring joy to those around him. With a quick wit and a love for making others laugh. A true sports enthusiast, he spent countless hours on the soccer field, running marathons, and cheering for his beloved Chicago Cubs. Ismael's strong work ethic earned him the title of a workaholic, yet his true fulfillment came from the time spent surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria del Carmen, and their children Rudy (Rebeca), Patty, and Carmen (Will). His legacy of love and laughter lives on in his grandchildren, Oscar and Kayla, who brought him immense pride and joy. Ismael is also survived by his brothers, Gustavo, Rigoberto, Jose Luis, and Segifredo, as well as many nephews and nieces who were close to his heart.
Ismael's family takes comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his beloved granddaughter Valerie in Heaven, where their laughter and love will surely echo.
Ismael's memory will live on in the laughter he shared, the bonds he created, and the countless lives he touched. His family invites all who knew and loved him to celebrate his extraordinary life and honor the remarkable man he was.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00AM - 11:30AM, at Mission Bible Church
412 North Wabena Avenue Minooka, Illinois 60447, where family and friends will gather to pay tribute to Ismael's beautiful legacy.
