Ivan J. Bercier

Ivan Joseph Bercier, age 28, journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, November 23, 2024. He was born May 7, 1996 the son of Ivy Charette and Joseph Bercier. Ivan loved spending time with his only child, Avani. Avani meant the world to him and he was so dedicated to spending as much time as he could with her. He also loved playing games and being a jokester. He loved to graffiti and spending time with family. He always looked out for you no matter what. He loved to eat and judge your cooking. He will be missed by his family and he left this world too early. Now he has a new journey to make with the family he has waiting for him.
Survived by his mother; daughter Avani Bercier; brother Michael Lablanc Jr.; "sister" Georgie; step-father Mike Lablanc Sr.; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father; "mother" Caroline Olivas; grandmother Shirley Bercier; grandfathers Peter Olivas and Moe Bercier; sister Martha; brothers Bascillio and Marvin; aunt Emma Bercier; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis, MN.
All-Night wake will take place Tuesday, December 3, 2024 beginning at 5:00 pm at Church of Gichitwaa Kateri.
Casket Bearers will be Ivan's relatives and friends.
Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, MN assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
